The free plan is not a trial: it never converts into a charge on its own. It is capped at 3 property searches each calendar month, and the count resets at the start of each calendar month (UTC). Every search you start counts, whether or not the jurisdiction can be searched automatically and whether or not the search completes - the coverage directory shows each jurisdiction's current state before you search.

Billed automatically to your payment method each billing period until you cancel. There is no minimum term.
You can cancel yourself, in the application, without telephoning or emailing anyone. Cancelling stops future charges; the subscription's unlimited access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and the account then returns to the free plan's monthly allowance.
The exact amount and the renewal terms are shown again, and have to be acknowledged, on the Cost and access page inside the application before any payment method is entered.

PermitProof is individual accounts: each producer or CSR signs up on their own. Team plans - shared history, seats, one bill - are being considered, and whether they get built depends on how many people ask.
